This update is mostly for people building apps on a larger company scale. It makes it easier to manage who gets access to private apps and keeps the rules simple and predictable for how your app spends email credits.

What's new

• Automatic access for private apps: If your app is set to private, you can now let people in automatically as soon as they sign in using your company's central login system (SSO). This means they don't have to wait for a manual invite. You can turn this on for your whole workspace, or just pick specific apps to use it while leaving others invite-only.

Improvements

• Simpler email billing: In the past, emails sent from different parts of your app might have been tracked differently. Now, every email your app sends costs exactly one "integration credit" (the virtual tokens your account uses to pay for automated tasks). This makes it much easier to track how many credits you are using across the board.
• Clearer error messages: If an email fails to send because of a setup mistake or a limit issue, the system won't charge you a credit. Instead of just failing quietly, it will tell you exactly what setting you need to change to fix it.

Fixes

• Fixed an issue where emails sent automatically by app workflows (background tasks) weren't showing up in your credit reports or app logs. Now, all sent emails are properly recorded in one place. Also, if your app runs out of credits, workflow emails will now safely stop and give you an "out-of-credits" warning instead of failing confusingly.
