Base44 August 8, 2026 Update Explained

TLDR

Clicking an invite link now automatically fills in your email and takes you to the right screen to log in or sign up.
You can now choose exactly which types of emails you want to get from us.
Unsubscribing from promotional emails won't block important stuff like password resets or login codes.
This update is all about making your life easier when joining a team and managing your inbox. It's especially helpful if you're new to Base44 or if you want to cut down on junk email without missing out on the important stuff you actually need.

Custom email preferences: There's a new settings page where you can pick exactly which topics you want to hear about. You don't have to get everything or nothing anymore.
Easy resubscribe: If you accidentally unsubscribe from an email list, you can now click a button to resubscribe instantly. You no longer have to contact customer support to get back on the list.

Smarter invite links: If someone sends you a link to join their Base44 workspace and you aren't logged in, the system is now smart enough to know what to do. It will automatically fill in your email address and send you to the login page if you already have an account (or if your school or company uses SSO—a single sign-on system). If you're totally new, it sends you to the sign-up page. Once you're in, it takes you right back to the invite you were trying to accept.

Fixed the "unsubscribe all" bug: Previously, clicking "unsubscribe" on an email would block you from getting all emails, including important ones like login codes, password resets, and billing notices. Now, unsubscribing only stops promotional and marketing emails, so your important account alerts will always get through.

No breaking changes in this release.
