This release is all about making your Superagent feel like a real teammate — it can now see and edit your apps, chat with you out loud, and work inside tools you already use like Slack and Chrome. At the same time, the default AI model gets an upgrade and the editor itself loads more quickly.
What's new
- Superagent can manage your Base44 apps: It can list and edit your apps, check build status, and run backend functions without making you log in separately.
- Voice conversations: You can now talk to your Superagent out loud, right inside the editor.
- Slack connection: Hook your Superagent into a Slack channel and it can join the conversation there.
- Control your own Chrome browser: With the Superagent extension installed, the agent can click, navigate, and read pages in your actual browser instead of a separate cloud one.
- Entity version history on Elite plan: You can now view, download, or restore older versions of your data (7 days of history) on the Elite plan — not just Enterprise.
- Redirect rules can point anywhere: Custom-domain redirects can now send users to full external web addresses, not just internal paths.
- See GPT-5.6's reasoning: The thinking panel in AI chat now shows written summaries of how GPT-5.6 Terra and Sol models reason through answers.
Improvements
- Faster startup: Base44 loads much less code up front, so the editor opens sooner — especially when you first load it.
- More workflows visible: The workflows page used to stop at 200; it now shows up to 1000 by paging through all of them.
- Bigger Figma uploads: The limit went from 100 MB to 300 MB, so large brand files won't get blocked.
Fixes
- Backend file imports fixed: Backend functions that imported files like
./helpers/x.jsused to fail silently — the deploy would break and Base44 would claim the file was missing, with no clear error. These imports now work. - MCP server registration fixed: Connecting your app's MCP server (a way for other tools to talk to your app) from Gemini or Google Antigravity no longer fails with an "automatic registration" error.
