This update is all about making your life easier when connecting Base44 to the outside world. It is especially helpful if you use AI agents to talk with your team on Slack or if you share private apps and need to keep tight security on who can use them.
What's new
- Custom Slack names for your agent: Your AI "Superagent" has a specific name (or "handle") that you type with an @ symbol to get its attention in Slack. Now, you can change that name right in your settings. You don't have to go through the headache of disconnecting and reconnecting the whole app.
- Email alerts for app access: If you build a private app, you want to know exactly when someone is asking for permission to use it. Before, you only got a notification inside the Base44 platform. Now, you'll also get an email, which means you can approve or deny requests even when you aren't logged in.
Improvements
- Managing your tools is faster and less frustrating. By letting you rename your Slack agent directly and send access requests to your email inbox, Base44 saves you from annoying extra steps and keeps you in the loop when you are away from your computer.
