This release introduces Puck, a new digital assistant built into ampcode.com. It is perfect for developers and anyone using Amp who wants a central "home base" to launch, manage, and coordinate multiple AI agents (essentially smart bots that do tasks for you) at the same time.
What's new
- Meet Puck: A new assistant you can open from anywhere on the website. It has access to your tools and can manage your AI agents for you.
- Agent Delegation: You can ask Puck to do big tasks in plain English. For example, you can tell it to look at a bug in a screenshot, figure out why your automated testing (CI) is failing, or set up a new coding environment (like a 2026 Rust toolchain).
- Thread Management: Puck can help you find old conversations—even massive ones, like a long thread about a 500 server error—and can archive them when you're done to keep things clean.
- Mass Coordination: You can ask Puck to spin up multiple agents at once. For instance, it can test every script in a folder against your local server and report back on exactly what worked and what didn't.
